Zero Tolerance Policy for Abuse of Referees

It is the policy of PYSA to provide a safe, fair, fun environment for all youths participating in our program. It is important that this expectation be extended to our youth referees, as well as our players.

It is the responsibility of ALL adults participating in our program whether coaches, parents, or spectators to realize that our program cannot continue without the dedication and commitment of our referees. With this in mind it is the stated policy of PYSA to protect our referees from abuse or misconduct of any kind. Our referees have been instructed to allow no conversation regarding game issues, questions, or complaints between parents, players, and coaches. If as a parent, player or coach you have an issue, question or complaint please find a board member.  If you cannot find a board member, please go to the concession stand to inquire where one might be found.

It is a league rule that PYSA expects positive, instructive, and encouraging behavior toward our players and referees at all times. ANY disrespectful behavior toward a player or referee during a game or practice as determined by PYSA league officials will result in the following:
This is a zero tolerance policy, and will be considered cumulative over the entire season. It is the responsibility of PYSA league officials, coaches, and parents to administer this policy.

PYSA is firmly committed to providing a positive environment for all youths in our charge and needs you to assist us in this effort.
